Lou Neff Point Roadwork

A segment of Lou Neff Road will be re-aligned and the electrical service will be modified to accommodate the new train turnaround at Lou Neff Point. Expect road closure during construction.

Railway Prep &
Railbed Install

The existing gravel rail base will be removed and restored, and drainage issues will be addressed. All new railroad ties and rail will be installed. Expect detours on the hike and bike trail during this project!

Train Depot Renovations

Restoration and maintenance of the existing building will address current accessibility issues, lighting, landscaping and functionality in the depot area, so the train is accessible, comfortable and welcoming to all.

Train Tunnel Improvements

Improvements made to address drainage in the train tunnel, provide additional lighting and functional roll-up doors for train storage, as well as provide an exciting new experience at the end of the ride.

Train Prep & Testing

Adjustments must be made before the train can run on the new rail (e.g. rail height, railway switches, loading dock, etc.). Construction timelines will dictate the exact timing of this phase, leaving ample time for safety and efficiency testing.
